The ONWA KA-09 is a high-performance GNSS (Global Navigation Satellite System) Marine Antenna. It is a modern, high-gain replacement for the older KA-07 and is designed to provide a “rock-solid” position fix for chartplotters, AIS transponders, and radar systems.
The KA-09 is more than just a GPS antenna; it is a multi-constellation GNSS receiver. It tracks GPS (USA), GLONASS (Russia), BeiDou (China), and Galileo (Europe) simultaneously. This allows the antenna to maintain an accurate 3D position fix even in challenging conditions, such as heavy rain, near large structures, or at high latitudes.
A unique feature of the KA-09 is its detachable mounting system. The receiving “puck” can be removed from the pole-mount base and flush-mounted directly onto a flat horizontal surface (like a cabin roof), providing a much cleaner and lower-profile installation.
