The Simrad P2005 is the compact, 5-inch counterpart to the P3007. It is designed for workboats, the light professional segment, and other non-SOLAS vessels. While it shares nearly all the same features and functionality as the larger P3007, it is specifically intended for vessels that do not require full IMO/SOLAS certification.
The P2005 features a 5-inch high-brightness color touch display that offers an intuitive menu system similar to modern smartphones. It is designed to act as a reliable position and navigation hub, capable of serving as both a GPS navigator and a GPS compass (depending on the antenna paired with it).
