JRC, JFE-380 ECHO SOUNDER

The JRC JFE-380 is a marine echo sounder designed to measure water depth beneath a vessel for safe navigation.

It works by transmitting ultrasonic sound pulses from a hull-mounted transducer and measuring the time taken for the echo to return from the seabed.
