The NSR NAB-1000 AIS Class B Transponder is a marine Automatic Identification System designed primarily for non-SOLAS vessels. It transmits the vessel’s identification, position, course and speed to nearby AIS-equipped vessels and shore stations, helping improve navigational awareness and collision avoidance. The system receives AIS information from surrounding vessels and supports integration with compatible chart plotters, navigation displays and other onboard equipment through NMEA data interfaces. Its compact design makes it suitable for small commercial vessels, workboats and recreational boats.
