The Icom MR-1010RII is a 4kW 36-nautical-mile commercial marine radar system manufactured by Icom Inc. in Japan. Featuring a 10.4-inch color TFT LCD display with a wide 176° viewing angle and a 60 cm (2 ft) 4kW radome scanner unit, the MR-1010RII provides target detection, collision avoidance, and navigation assistance for commercial fishing vessels, workboats, and pleasure craft.
Equipped with a simplified Automatic Radar Plotting Aid (ARPA) engine, the system tracks up to 10 targets to calculate Closest Point of Approach (CPA) and Time to CPA (TCPA). It integrates with external AIS receivers and DSC VHF transceivers to overlay up to 100 AIS target icons and plot up to 20 incoming DSC message locations directly on the radar screen.
