The Garmin GPSMAP® 65s (Part Number 010-02451-11) is a premium, high-precision outdoor handheld navigator designed for hiking, hunting, geocaching, and challenging wilderness excursions. Featuring a 2.6-inch sunlight-readable 65K color display, it incorporates expanded multi-band GNSS technology and multi-constellation support (GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, QZSS, and IRNSS) to deliver optimal location accuracy in dense woods, deep canyons, and remote terrain. The unit comes preloaded with routable TopoActive maps for North America and Europe, providing detailed contours, elevations, coastlines, rivers, and landmarks.
Housed in a rugged, IPX7 waterproof chassis built to withstand harsh outdoor elements, the 65s features ABC sensors (an altimeter for elevation data, a barometer to monitor weather, and a 3-axis tilt-compensated electronic compass). Powered by two field-replaceable AA batteries delivering up to 16 hours of continuous operation, it includes 16 GB of internal memory alongside a microSD™ slot for additional mapping. Equipped with Bluetooth® and ANT+® connectivity, the device supports smart notifications, paperless geocaching, and seamless synchronization with the Garmin Explore™ app for route planning and waypoint management.
