The NetWave NW-VDR is a marine Voyage Data Recorder system designed to continuously record important navigational, operational, and audio information from a vessel. VDR systems are commonly referred to as the ship’s “black box.”
NetWave VDR systems use a modular architecture and can collect data from navigation equipment, sensors, bridge audio systems, VHF communications, radar, and other connected shipboard equipment. NetWave’s later VDR systems use Ethernet-based networking and modular components to simplify installation and maintenance.
