The Garmin GMR™ 2536 xHD3 (K10-00012-29) is a commercial-grade open-array marine radar system that combines a high-output 25 kW magnetron pedestal with a 6-foot open-array antenna. Delivering long-range target detection up to 96 nautical miles and short-range detail down to 20 meters, it features a narrow 1.1-degree horizontal beamwidth for high target separation and resolution. The radar operates with dual rotation speeds of 24 and 48 RPM to provide fast screen refresh rates on compatible Garmin chartplotters. Advanced digital processing features include scan-averaging technology to filter out sea clutter and noise, angular target-size processing to refine visual object shapes, True Echo Trails for tracking vessel motion history, and Dual Range mode for simultaneous short- and long-range monitoring on a split display. The system also supports Auto Bird Gain, MARPA target tracking for up to 30 targets, radar chart overlay, and Dynamic Auto Gain and Sea Filtering. Housed in a commercial-grade enclosure with a 100-knot wind rating, it operates on 10 to 32 VDC power systems, connects via the Garmin Marine Network (or Garmin BlueNet™), carries an IPX6 water resistance rating, and comes supplied as a complete bundle with 15-meter power and network interconnect cables.
