The Garmin AIS™ 800 Blackbox Transceiver (Part Number: 010-02087-00) is a compact, high-performance Class B/SO (SOTDMA) marine AIS transponder designed to enhance situational awareness and vessel safety on the water. Operating with 5 watts of transmit power, it utilizes Self-Organizing Time Division Multiple Access to deliver faster position reporting rates and higher priority network transmission than standard Class B units.
