The NSR NSI-1000 is a Class A Shipborne Automatic Identification System (AIS) manufactured by New Sunrise Co., Ltd. (NSR Marine). It is designed for SOLAS and commercial vessels to automatically exchange vessel identification and navigational information with other AIS-equipped ships and shore stations within VHF coverage.
The system consists of the NSI-1000 AIS Transponder, NSI-1000D Minimum Keyboard and Display (MKD), and NGA100 GNSS antenna. Optional equipment includes an NVA100 VHF antenna, NPP100 Pilot Plug, and plotter options depending on the system configuration.
