The SAILOR 6281 AIS is a professional Class A Automatic Identification System (AIS) designed for commercial and SOLAS vessels. It provides automatic transmission and reception of vessel identification, position and navigation information through dedicated maritime VHF AIS channels.

The system is designed for integration with shipboard navigation equipment such as ECDIS, radar/ARPA, GNSS, gyrocompass and speed log, improving vessel tracking, situational awareness and navigational safety.

SAILOR 6281 Class A AIS is a shipborne AIS transponder designed for professional maritime applications. The system automatically exchanges static, dynamic and voyage-related vessel information with other AIS-equipped vessels and shore stations. It supports integration with modern bridge navigation systems and provides AIS target information, vessel monitoring, messaging and alarm functions for enhanced navigational safety.
