The Gill Instruments WindObserver 65 is a precision, solid-state 2-axis ultrasonic wind sensor designed to measure wind speed and wind direction without moving parts. Its robust 316 stainless-steel construction and IP66 protection make it particularly suitable for demanding environments, including marine vessels, offshore platforms, ports, and coastal installations. It is available with an optional heating/de-icing system for operation in icing conditions. The WindObserver 65 is also Lloyd’s Register Type Approved for marine applications.
