The Garmin Reactor™ 40 Steer-by-wire Corepack for Viking® VIPER™ Without GHC™ Autopilot Instrument (PN: 010-00705-92) is an advanced marine autopilot system specifically tailored to integrate with Viking yachts equipped with the proprietary Viking VIPER (Viking Independent Power Electronic Rudder) steering platform. Powered by a solid-state 9-axis Attitude Heading Reference System (AHRS), the unit allows for versatile mounting orientations while significantly reducing heading errors, course deviations, and unnecessary rudder movements even during heavy pitch and roll conditions. Designed for glass-helm setups, this configuration omits the dedicated GHC™ display unit, relying instead on an NMEA 2000® network connection to allow full system setup, calibration, and navigation control—such as heading hold, step turns, wind hold, and Auto Guidance+™ pathing—directly through compatible Garmin chartplotters and MFDs.
