The Raymarine RD424HD is a high-performance, 4kW high-definition digital radar dome. Stepping up to the larger 24-inch platform narrows the horizontal beamwidth down to 3.9° (compared to 4.9° on the 18-inch model), providing significantly higher target separation, finer resolution, and cleaner imaging of tightly clustered contacts or narrow channel markers.
Driven by a traditional magnetron paired with advanced digital signal processing, it features Bird Mode for tracking feeding sea birds and an automatic High-Speed Mode (48 RPM) for fast tracking inside 3 nautical miles
