The Furuno GP-1971F is a high-performance 9-inch multi-touch Chart Plotter and Fish Finder combo designed for recreational and professional light-commercial vessels. It bridges the gap between basic standalone units and high-end networked MFDs, featuring an interface inherited from the flagship NavNet TZtouch2 series.
The GP-1971F features an all-glass, multi-touch display that is daylight-viewable and highly responsive. It is built to withstand harsh marine environments with an IP56 waterproof rating.
Intuitive Interface: Uses slide-out menus and “edge-swipe” gestures for quick access to tools, similar to a smartphone.
Built-in TruEcho CHIRP™: Delivers high-definition fish targets and bottom structure detail by sweeping across a range of frequencies.
Wireless Radar Connectivity: Unique in its class, it can wirelessly connect to the Furuno DRS4W 1st Watch Wireless Radar, allowing for radar overlay without the need for data cables.
Autopilot Integration: Allows direct control of the NAVpilot-300 and NAVpilot-711C via the NMEA2000 network.
Finger Gestures: Two-finger taps allow for instant screenshots, while pinch-to-zoom makes chart navigation fluid.
