The Ninglu SB-100 is a marine-grade Stainless Steel Gate Valve (often referred to as a Sea Valve) specifically designed for echo sounder and speed log installations. It allows for the maintenance or replacement of a transducer while the vessel is afloat by providing a watertight shut-off mechanism.

While the part number “SB-100” is also used by Skipper Electronics (a close partner or similar standard), the Ninglu version is built to be compatible with their DS2008 and DS228 echo sounder systems.

The SB-100 Gate Valve is a critical “thru-hull” safety component. It is mounted on a bottom flange welded to the hull. When the valve is open, the transducer is lowered through the valve into the water; when the transducer needs service, it is pulled up, and the gate is closed to prevent water ingress.

• Size: 100 mm (Nominal Diameter), which is the standard size for most commercial navigational transducers.

• Material: High-grade Stainless Steel (typically 316L or A4) to withstand the highly corrosive environment of the ship’s bilge and sea chest.

• Operation: Manual handwheel-operated rising stem.

• Certifications: Usually comes with CCS (China Classification Society) approval, and often meets DNV or ABS standards for international shipping.
