The DSL-30CF/RS splitter is intended for dividing voice signal frequencies and frequencies used by xDSL equipment. The DSL-30CF/RS is placed at the phone line input (before phone connection). Thus, using the splitter excludes interference of modem and phone signals, providing concurrent operation of the devices. ADSL, ADSL2, ADSL2+ Annex A/L/M standards are supported.
Core Functionality
-
Signal Separation: It divides the incoming line into two distinct frequency bands: low frequencies for voice (POTS) and high frequencies for data (ADSL).
-
Interference Reduction: By filtering out the digital “noise” from the phone line, it eliminates the static or hissing sounds often heard during phone calls when a DSL modem is active.
-
Concurrent Use: It allows you to surf the internet and talk on the phone simultaneously without performance drops or dropped connections.
