The ONWA KA-07 is a legacy high-gain GNSS (Global Navigation Satellite System) Marine Antenna. While it has largely been superseded by the multi-constellation KA-09, the KA-07 remains a widely used and highly reliable GPS antenna found on thousands of vessels globally.
The KA-07 is an Active GPS Antenna designed to provide stable positioning data for marine navigators, AIS units, and fishfinders. It features a built-in Low Noise Amplifier (LNA) that boosts satellite signals to 27dB, ensuring a fast “time-to-first-fix” even in overcast weather or when mounted near other electronic equipment.
Its housing is built from high-impact, corrosion-proof polycarbonate resin and is hermetically sealed, making
it 100% waterproof. It is a “plug-and-play” replacement for many older 5V GPS antennas using a standard BNC connection.
