The KRF-36 is a mechanical-to-electrical transducer. It consists of a waterproof housing with a rotating shaft and a linkage arm that connects to your boat’s rudder quadrant or tiller arm. As the rudder moves, the arm rotates the internal sensor, allowing the autopilot to know the exact rudder position.
