The Vertical Amplifier PCB is an internal electronic board inside the TG‑5000 gyrocompass responsible for the vertical axis signal amplification within the gyro’s servo control system.
The vertical amplifier board’s role is to take low‑level vertical feedback/control signals from the gyro’s sensors and amplify them with precise, conditioned power levels so that the vertical control mechanisms (vertical torque coils, actuator drivers, or vertical servo motors) can respond accurately.
🛠️ Functional Role
-
Signal amplification: Boosts vertical axis feedback/control signals to levels usable by servo actuators.
-
Noise‑free output: Designed for precise, low‑noise amplification to maintain gyro accuracy.
-
Integration: Matches mechanical and electrical interfaces of the TG‑5000 internal framework.
