The FURUNO FELCOM251 and FELCOM501 are maritime Inmarsat FleetBroadband satellite communication terminals providing simultaneous voice and IP data communication at sea. They are designed for operational communications, crew welfare, internet access, remote monitoring, troubleshooting and other ship-to-shore applications. FURUNO identifies the FELCOM251/501 as its current FleetBroadband terminal family.

The FELCOM251 provides standard IP data up to 284 kbps, while the FELCOM501 provides up to 432 kbps and additionally supports 64 kbps ISDN UDI/RDI.
