The Ocean Signal rescueME EPIRB1 is a compact 406 MHz Emergency Position-Indicating Radio Beacon (EPIRB) designed to alert search-and-rescue authorities during a maritime emergency. It uses an integrated 66-channel GPS receiver to provide accurate position information and transmits distress information through the Cospas-Sarsat satellite system.
