The KV-38 is designed for “worst-case” scenarios. It is a floating radio that features a “Float and Flash” alarm—if it falls overboard, it will float on the surface and automatically activate a flashing LED to help you locate it.
Beyond voice communication, its built-in GPS allows for a Man Overboard (MOB) function and independent DSC distress calling, which sends your exact coordinates to nearby vessels and rescue centers at the touch of a button. It also features Active Noise Cancelling to filter out engine and wind noise during transmission.
