The Rutter RUT-02395 Data Management Module is a marine data interface and processing unit used to centralize, convert, and distribute navigation, sensor, and control data on board vessels. It is typically installed as part of an integrated bridge system (IBS) or navigation network where multiple sensors and systems must communicate and share information reliably.
The module acts as a gateway and protocol converter, allowing data from various marine instruments (GPS, gyrocompass, log, echo sounder, autopilot, radar, AIS, etc.) to be consolidated and routed to multiple consumers (ECS, ECDIS, displays, autopilots, GMDSS, etc.) over standard maritime data networks such as NMEA 0183, NMEA 2000, and Ethernet.
