The UNICONT MDU-102 is a marine NMEA 0183 buffer and data multiplier. It takes NMEA 0183 signals from one or two sources (RS-232, RS-422/485) and reliably distributes them to eight isolated outputs for use by multiple navigation and communication systems on a ship. It features automatic input switching, checksum testing for data integrity, and galvanic/opto isolation for robust and interference-free data distribution
