The KS-33NT_X is a rugged, self-contained AIS transmitter. Its primary purpose is to allow a mother ship to see exactly where its gear (nets/buoys) is located on their own AIS-equipped chartplotter.
Anti-Theft/Encryption: It features ONWA’s proprietary encrypted technology, allowing you to hide your buoy’s position from other nearby vessels while remaining visible to your own fleet.
Dual-Role: It can be programmed to appear on other screens as either a “Buoy” (AtoN) or a “Vessel,” depending on your local regulations or preference.
Built to Last: The housing is made of high-quality ABS+PC and can survive being submerged (IPX7 rated, with some documentation suggesting submersibility up to 60m).
