The ONWA KCR-160(S) is a digital compass repeater designed to display and retransmit heading data across your vessel’s network. It serves as a central “repeater” for heading information, typically receiving data from a master gyro, magnetic compass, or satellite compass and displaying it clearly for the crew.
The KCR-160 features a unique dual-display interface: a high-visibility 4-digit LED readout for precise numerical heading and an outer rotating LED ring that provides an “at-a-glance” analog representation of direction.
It is designed to be a “total solution” for bridge data distribution. It takes one NMEA 0183 heading input and can re-output that data to two separate ports, allowing you to share one compass signal with multiple devices like Radars, Autopilots, and Chartplotters simultaneously.
