The Ninglu SR362 is a professional-grade steering repeater designed to provide a classic, intuitive heading display for helmsmen and bridge officers.1 Unlike the purely digital IR361, the SR362 features a mechanical-style 360° compass card visualization to facilitate easier steering and course-keeping.
The SR362 acts as a “slave” unit that receives NMEA 0183 heading data (usually $HDT) from a master Gyrocompass or GPS Compass.3 It is specifically designed for bridge consoles where a traditional compass dial is preferred for quick orientation.
