The JRC NAF-742LT is a marine satellite communication antenna designed for use with the JRC JUE-95LT Inmarsat-C LRIT system. It is the externally mounted equipment (EME) that provides the radio link between the vessel and the Inmarsat satellite network.
Designed for maritime Inmarsat-C communication — used for data and safety messaging at sea.
Typical use: Long-Range Identification and Tracking (LRIT), vessel tracking, position reporting, and text/data communications over satellite.
Paired specifically with the JRC JUE-95LT terminal system (the dome antenna connects via a coax cable to the below-deck terminal)
