The JRC JUE‑501 (FB500) is a high-speed maritime communication terminal designed for FleetBroadband service via the Inmarsat satellite network. It offers simultaneous voice and data connectivity, supporting up to 432 kbps standard IP and 256 kbps streaming IP, making it suitable for internet access, email, VoIP, and emergency calling at sea. The system includes a stabilized antenna unit and a compact below-deck unit, both engineered for rugged marine environments. The JUE-501 comes standard with a 5-meter power cable, enabling direct connection to the ship’s 24V DC power system (range: 21.6–31.2 V DC). This setup ensures quick installation and reliable power delivery, allowing the terminal to maintain essential communication even in harsh offshore conditions.
